Samhain, Seances, & Our 1st Anniversary!

It's our one year anniversary! We are so thankful to all of our listeners and all of the support from our family and friends to make this possible. In this episode we reflect on this last year and our gratitude to our listeners. Jess gives us a Samhain refresher including a little bit of history and some rituals to practice for the holiday, including setting up an alter. Then, James gives a wonderful history and discussion of seances. She goes over the different types of seances, as well as ways you can perform one on your own. This week Jess and James cover the very debated topic of curses. Jess breaks down the history and past uses of curses, discussing some ancient examples. We get into the pros and cons of performing a hex, as well as why some groups may think hexing might be a bad idea, while others believe it is just another part of the craft. Have you ever wondered if you have a ghost in your home, and then how to get it to leave? Well, this week James covers all things ghosts! She discusses ways you can tell a ghost/spirit may be in your home, how you can ask them to leave, as well as ways to protect your home from any future ghosts! Pope Lick Monster & The Fresno Night-Crawler

This week we wanted to get a little spooky and did a split cryptid episode! Jess covers the Pope Lick Monster, a goat like creature found in Kentucky. This cryptid lurks under a train trestle luring victims up to the train tracks. James covered the Fresno Night-Crawler, a parachute pant wearing oddity found in different places around the world. This cryptid seems to be a wanderer who looks super creepy but has no victims, that we know of. Luck & Prosperity

We can all use a little more luck in our lives. So this week, James gives us another episode full of some practical use ideas to boost the luck and prosperity in our everyday life. For each, she discusses the crystals and plants you can incorporate into your craft to boost these in everyday ways. Anxiety & Courage

It has been a hard few months, so this week Jess wanted to give some practical use tips on how to dispel some of your anxiety and to boost your courage. Jess and James discuss helpful crystals and plant life you can incorporate into your practice. We also discuss the difference between candle colors and how they can boost your spell work in these areas.
